Manny Marino – Board Member
Manny Marino has been with the Hollywood Police Department for almost 21 years and currently serves as the Major of the Support Services Division. Among the many duties as the commander of Support Services, Major Marino oversees the department’s community outreach, youth services, grants and media relations programs. In addition, Major Marino also currently serves on the City of Hollywood Police Athletic League’s executive board of directors.
Major Marino holds a Master of Arts in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Public Administration from Barry University. Manny is also a graduate of the 240th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, as well as the 61st Session of the Police Executive Research Forum’s Senior Management Institute for Police in Boston, Massachusetts. Manny’s professional memberships include the FBI National Academy Associates, International Association of Chiefs of Police, Police Executive Research Forum and the Broward County Chiefs of Police Association. Manny is also the past president of the Police Benevolent Association of Hollywood, Incorporated.
Manny has been married to his wife, Jane, for 22 years and has two wonderful children, Julia (18) and Nicolas (15).
