Volunteer – Give your Time and Wisdom
Voices for Children of Broward County has a variety of meaningful and impactful opportunities. Below are the different types of volunteer opportunities that are currently available. To become a Volunteer, please complete our Volunteer Form below.
Volunteers are an important part of our team. They play an important role in helping to ensure every abused, neglected, and abandoned child in Broward County has a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and that financial resources are available for each child’s accompanying health, educational, and social needs.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
If you are interested in learning more about nonprofit fundraising, databases, and special events, this is the volunteer opportunity for you! We have a need for volunteers to assist our fundraising efforts and may include scheduling meetings with prospects, connecting with current donors to share impact, preparing acknowledgment letters, researching grant opportunities, and helping to plan and execute special events. Average time investment = 4 – 6 hours per week. Flexible Hours, from the convenience of your home!
Administrative and Program Support
We have experienced a time of rapid growth and we are in need of administrative support to help basic office work and program implementation, such as may include using the computer for data entry, making phone calls, and working on special administrative projects. Average time investment = 3 – 5 hours per week. Flexible Hours, from the convenience of your home!
Our organization is looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with newsletters, marketing special events, working with media, issuing press releases and enhancing our image in the public eye. Marketing and PR experience is preferred but not necessary, just someone with the desire to get the story out about Voices for Children of Broward County. Average time investment = 2 – 5 hours per week. Flexible Hours, from the convenience of your home!
