Making a Difference

Meet Sofia

“Music is my most favorite thing! I love playing with my violin with my new friends!”

Thanks to a special donor, 8 year-old Sofia was able to live out her dream to learn to play violin. She’s been in foster care for 2 years after her parents’ rights were terminated and has had multiple placements. The investment from this donor allowed Sofia to join the Florida Youth Orchestra, where she felt an increase sense of self and boost in confidence.

Meet Kyle and John

“John is my best friend and helps me feel safe. But now I’m brave and we even started our own super hero club.”

Kyle, 7 years-old, and John, 11 years- old, happened to be placed into the same group home on the very same day! While they may have experienced different reasons for entering foster care, they quickly bonded over the love of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Thanks to you, they now have a full collection of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to enjoy together.

Meet Cruz

Cruz, 15 months old, was born addicted to opioids, which resulted in immediate removal from his mother. He stayed in the hospital for 4 months before being placed with a caregiver. Since the caregiver was on a fixed income, she was in need of assistance. Because of donors like you, Cruz was able to receive essential items, such as a new high chair.
