Voices for Children of Broward County’s President & CEO Thanks Outgoing Board Chair, Arielle Capuano

This summer marked the end of Board Chairwomanship for Arielle Capuano. Fortunately for us, Arielle isn’t going anywhere. She becomes our Immediate Past Chair and will continue to serve on our Executive Committee.

Arielle has done an outstanding job as board chair by shaping our organization for the past six and a half years. Voices for Children of Broward County expresses deep gratitude to Arielle for her extraordinary leadership to our Board of Directors and organization and for her passion in ensuring that all children in foster care not only survive but thrive.

Arielle began her board service with Voices for Children of Broward County in 2011 and was soon tapped as co-chair for our signature Soaring for Children Cocktail Reception in 2013. During these two years, Arielle played a vital role in organizational development, raising funds, leading efforts to engage young professionals, and working with community partners to help further the mission. In early 2014, Arielle was instrumental in the selection and hiring of our first and current President & CEO. Then in 2015, she stepped into the role of chair for Voices for Children of Broward County’s Board of Directors and is the longest serving board chair.

During Arielle’s tenure, her stewardship and leadership of Voices for Children of Broward County has helped to build a sustainable, valuable, thriving, meaningful organization. We have seen enormous growth in every aspect of the organization–from programming to marketing to fundraising to organizational fiscal health.

On a personal note, thank you for your warm friendship and unwavering support. I am so grateful for the time we spent together, your wise counsel, and patient advice. It has been  such an honor to partner with you these last several years and no amount of words can truly express my sincere gratitude to you.

I look forward to this next chapter as you continue to serve on the board as the past immediate board chair, chair of the Advisory Council, and developing legacy programs around health and wellness.
