The new school year is right around the corner, and Voices for Children of Broward County is collecting backpacks, school supplies, and monetary donations to help children in foster care start the year feeling prepared, supported, and excited for what is ahead.

For many of the children we serve, back-to-school season can be stressful when they do not have the supplies, clothing, or resources they need to begin the year with confidence. A new backpack filled with school supplies is more than a practical need. It can boost a child’s self-esteem, help them feel valued, and remind them that someone cares about their success.

You can help bring big smiles and bright futures to children in foster care by becoming a sponsor, making a monetary donation, hosting a donation drive, or purchasing supplies from our Amazon Wishlist.

Together, we can fill backpacks, build confidence, and help children in foster care start the school year with dignity and hope.
