Voices for Children of Broward County Awarded 2024 Local Impact Grant by Comcast NBCUniversal

We are thrilled to announce that Voices for Children of Broward County has been selected as one of only 76 nonprofits across the United States—and one of just 7 in South Florida—to receive The Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation’s 2024 Local Impact Grant. The foundation is granting $2.5 million this year to nonprofits that are making significant strides in strengthening our communities.

By winning this competitive grant, we are empowered to further our mission of driving our local communities forward and fostering a culture of equity and inclusion. With this newly awarded grant, we will be able to continue providing vital support and resources to children in foster care, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive.

“This grant is more than just an award to our program—it’s a celebration of our mission and the positive impact we’re making in the community. We are incredibly grateful to The Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation for recognizing our work and investing in the future of Broward County’s children,” said Erica, CEO of Voices for Children of Broward County.

We are excited to use this funding to enhance our programs and continue making a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable youth in our community. This opportunity is a testament to the power of collective effort and the importance of supporting our local community.

Stay tuned for more updates on how this grant will help us grow and strengthen our services.
