Chase McCue - Board Member
Chase McCue serves as the Director of Memorabilia for Hard Rock International and is responsible for the over 86,000 priceless objects found in Hard Rock’s music memorabilia collection and the team of specialists responsible for the stewardship of the collection worldwide.
Chase’s primary responsibilities include the overarching standards of care, handling, preservation, registration, and documentation of the global collection as well as acquiring memorabilia on behalf of the organization. As functions of memorabilia acquisitions, Chase maintains positive relationships and partnerships with recording artists, management, and label representatives in addition to attending auctions and negotiating private sales to strategically acquire memorabilia for upcoming Hard Rock development.
Chase is a recognized subject matter expert on music history and memorabilia, providing support for asset valuation and research to institutions, private collectors, and appraisers across the globe. Chase also serves as in-house music and memorabilia historian.
A lifelong musician, Chase performed in multiple symphony orchestras throughout his late teens and early 20s and credits this experience as a driving factor in his passion for music. Prior to his tenure as Hard Rock’s Director of Memorabilia, Chase worked for the artist management firm Fly South Music Group.
Chase has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and a Minor in Music Performance. In his spare time, Chase enjoys playing a variety of musical instruments, attending concerts, and teaching private string bass lessons in South Florida.
