On November 21st, with over 200 of our closest friends, Voices for Children of Broward County celebrated its 8th annual Soaring for Children Cocktail Reception hosted at The Venue in Wilton Manors. With this year’s theme, ‘Enchanted—An Evening of Reflections’, our sold-out event had one goal in mind—to raise money for over 2,000 children in Broward County. Guests felt like they were in a fairytale world the moment they entered The Venue and were greeted by Snow White and Alice in Wonderland. The night kicked off with a not-to-be-missed cocktail hour, featuring an extensive silent auction filled with unique pieces such as trips of a lifetime, a shopping experience at The Colonnade Outlets, tickets to local sporting events, a shark tagging experience, and so much more! Guests were then welcomed by our Master of Ceremonies, Dale the Host from the Miami Heat, and were treated to delectable cuisine, dancing, and special presentations honoring this year’s Voice of Distinction, Pam Tindall.
