Amy Bisceglia - Board Member
Amy Bisceglia currently serves as a Principal for Shumaker Advisors, where she represents clients before the Florida State Legislature, Florida’s Executive Branch, and local governments throughout Florida.
Prior to joining Shumaker Advisors, Amy worked as a governmental and business consultant in legislative, budgetary, and procurement initiatives. Amy began her career as a legislative aide in the Florida Senate President’s office and went on to accept a position in Governor Rick Scott’s administration. She then served as a public affairs specialist in the communications department at the Florida Lottery.She began her career in the Florida Senate president’s office as a legislative aide, before accepting a position in Governor Rick Scott’s administration. Most recently, she has worked as a contract lobbyist involved in legislative and budgetary initiatives.
Amy is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and is attaining a Master’s degree in Applied American Politics and Policy at Florida State University. She formerly served as a Guardian Ad Litem in the Big Bend Area and is a Board Member for Voices for Children.
In her spare time, Amy likes to garden, play with her dogs, listen to podcasts, and be near the water.
